The Mississippi River Greenway will be completed thanks to $850,000 in recently allocated federal funds. 

This greenway will be a major recreational amenity serving Dakota County residents and connecting communities, parks, schools, employers, and natural areas along the river. Democratic U.S. Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith requested the funding along with U.S. Rep. Angie Craig, D-Prior Lake.
